James Chappell and Carwyn Roberts decided it would be fun to jam one day and it ended up being a band. Carl Golli was then part of LOG about 4 weeks after. From there on we did a few covers and created our own music. And decided to look for another guitarist. Nearly a year later Mitchell joined the band. We experimented with the name a few times and then decided to stick with Leaning On Gravity. LOG decided that they should go with a metalcore / deathcore genre, based on the members taste and interest in music. Carwyn Roberts recently left the band due to school work and decided it would be easier if we found a new bassist. New current member is Jamie Capon.
Carl Golli (Guitar):
I started playing guitar because of my brother getting me the game "Guitar Hero". So I decided to try the real guitar. I learnt almost everything without a teacher and after about a year and a half I started thinking of joining a band. Soon after that I got an offer from James and Carwyn to join their new band.

James Chappell (Drums):
I started playing the drums when I was about 5 maybe 6 on my cousins kit who started because of my uncle which had done fairly well with his band when he was young. A few years later I got my own knock about kit when I was 7. I loved messing about on them! So I then got another kit which was brand new. I got that at about 12 years old. When the band started I've been taking my instrument a little more seriously instead of messing about :P.

Mitchell Smith Williams (Rhythm guitar):
My mum randomly got me a guitar for Christmas so I decided to start playing :P My main influence on guitar is Jim Root from Slipknot and Stone Sour. 9 months later i got my Ibanez and joined Leaning On Gravity.
